Justice, Gender, and Human Rights in the Egyptian Elections

This panel explored the legal, gender, and human rights implications of Egypt’s presidential and parliamentary elections. The panelists’ analysis of Egypt’s election laws since the January 25 uprising provided insight into the legal and political reforms that are needed to produce a meaningful democracy for all Egyptians.
